NEW! The Lasting Impressions DIY Home Casting Kit

In response to growing demand, and increasing customer feedback, we have developed a DIY (postal) casting kit, that can be used to capture your loved ones' fingerprints from the comfort of your own home, at a time that suits.

The kits cost £5.95 (in addition to the jewellery/keepsake you order) and contains everything you need to create casts of your loved ones' fingerprints. The process is really simple - we send you everything you need, including easy to read (and easy to follow!) instructions.

The whole process can take less than 5 minutes of your time and not only is it quick and easy, but ideally suited to young children - you can even do it when your child is asleep!

The ordering process is slightly different to our 'in person' printing service. Once you've placed your order for a DIY kit (ideally by email or telephone) we will send it out to you within 48 hours by first class post.

Once you've taken the fingerprint casts, simply label them and pop the casts back in the SAE provided together with your completed order form and contact details and post back to us - we will acknowledge receipt of the order by email.

Once we have received the impressions back we will create your chosen piece(s) in silver clay. All of our fingerprint jewellery is handcrafted in 99.9% pure silver and the price includes hand inscriptions of your loved ones' name and age/DOB.

On some of our larger pieces it is possible to add a short message. This is hand engraved and costs just £2 per word.

Once the jewellery/keepsake is finished we gift box and send back to you by Royal Mail Special Delivery, which offers next day delivery and includes insurance up to £500.

The casting kit is perfect if you live outside our catchment area for appointments, or wish to purchase a 'Lasting Impression' as a gift.

The kit contains enough compound to create 2 fingerprint casts (to allow for practise printing to make sure you're happy with the cast you send us!), so please remember to order one kit for every child/loved one to be fingerprinted.

One of the major benefits of the DIY casting kit is that impressions can be reused again and again, so we can make future and/or multiple orders from a single print! We catalogue all impressions and archive them for 12 months from the date of print.
