No two fingerprints are the same and you can be reassured that the same is true of your Lasting Impressions jewellery or keepsake. You can choose what you want your jewellery or keepsake to look like – from its' shape, size, finish and fitting…it’s all up to you.

Using a special compound called Precious Metal Clay, we skilfully and carefully capture your loved ones' fingerprints. The process is completely safe and will not harm your loved one. The clay, developed by Mitsubishi Technologies in Japan during the 1990s, is an organic, non-toxic binder, looking and feeling much like putty, and is softer than plasticine to touch.

When dry, the fingerprinted items are hand engraved and fired, turning the silver clay compound into 99.9% pure solid silver. All items are then hand finished to a satin or high shine finish, as specified by you.

All our jewellery is boxed, wrapped and sent to you, ready for a birthday or christening gift, special occasion or simply as a special keepsake treat – after all, you’re worth spoiling!

Visit us at one of our home locations - always handy if the prints are for a surprise gift!
Book a one-to-one session in the comfort of your own home (please note: there may be a small fee/minimum purchase for these appointments depending on your order size/location).
Arrange a Lasting Impressions session party - perfect if you have friends or family who also want some pieces made.
When hosting your own Lasting Impressions party session, if 5 or more people attend and make a purchase on the day, as the host you get a free gift and may be entitled to a discount on your purchases, up to 25% (dependant on number of people attending and total spend on the day of the party).
New for 2008! We also now have a DIY casting kit that we can post out to you. You take the prints using our new easy casting compound (full instructions are enclosed) then send them back to us with details of your order, and we make them into your chosen peice of solid silver jewellery or keepsake. For those of you wishing to visit us, we have 2 home studios where fingerprint sessions can be booked in a relaxed and family friendly environment (location – Angmering or Littlehampton - 3 miles from Worthing, West Sussex).

We also attend NCT and craft events, pamper evenings, farmers market stalls and local fundraisers/nursery sessions, so keep an out for our next local event…we’re always happy to taken prints during public sessions too!
